I joined the Institute's team in September 2017 to assist in creating an international research programme on participatory and digital democracy, managing research projects, and developing strategic research partnerships. I graduated in Political Science at Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, and hold an MA in Politics, Security and Integration from University College London. Later, I completed a PhD in International Politics at Aberystwyth University, specialising in EU migration policy, where I also taught on International Relations, political theory and European political systems. I have previously worked in market research projects and in the EU agencies (Frontex). I am passionate about human rights and gender equality, and in my spare time I enjoy music, reading and long walks around the city.
